Privacy

What we collect

• From /design and /api/first-run-interest: your email, optional first name, product-line interest, launch-updates consent, the place you selected (label plus longitude / latitude), the polygon or shape you chose, terrain settings, size, and internal design/production package data.
• From /api/contact: your name, email, optional phone number, inquiry type, and message.
• Server access logs: IP address and user-agent string. Used for rate-limit enforcement and abuse prevention.

Why

To follow up when first-run production is ready, reply to contact inquiries, and protect the site from abuse.

Where it goes

• Resend - transactional email delivery (first-run and contact emails route through their servers to our inbox).
• Mapbox - geocoding plus terrain tile delivery for the configurator.
• Supabase - server-side storage for first-run interest submissions, design snapshots, and production packages.
• Our own server logs - short-lived; see Retention.
• No data is sold to third parties. There are no advertising trackers on this site.

Retention

Submitted records are kept indefinitely unless deletion is requested. Rate-limit buckets are in-memory only and reset on every server restart.

Your rights

Email privacy@provenancedesignco.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. We reply within a reasonable window.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses first-party browser storage for the configurator (so your partially-built design is preserved if you navigate away) and the Mapbox tile cache. There are no third-party cookies.

Children’s privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn we’ve received data from a child, we delete it.
