Recommended widths by room
- Office desk
- A Niche (12″) reads sharply at desk distance without overpowering the workspace. Pair with low or mid bookshelves.
- Bedroom dresser
- A Mantel (16″) or Hearth (20″) sits well above a standard dresser. Centered, hung 6–8 inches above the top.
- Living room
- Above a small couch or mantle, a Room (24″) holds the wall. Sofa-scale rooms can take a Gallery (36″).
- Statement wall
- The Gallery (36″) for the room where the piece is the point. Use a French cleat; level matters.
- Hallway
- A Mantel (16″) in a hallway invites a closer read. Choose a familiar place and a finer terrain detail.
Install & care
- Hanging hardware
- Pieces 20″ and up ship with a French cleat. Level once, then the piece drops on. Smaller pieces use a flat two-hook hanger; you set the spacing.
- Weight
- Order of magnitude: small pieces (8″–16″) are 1–2 lb; large pieces (24″–36″) are 6–10 lb, well within drywall-anchor or stud-screw range.
- Desk pieces
- The Coaster (4″) is a desk piece, not wall-mounted. It ships with a food-safe leveling epoxy top so cups rest flat. The hanging-hardware and weight notes above apply to the wall sizes.
- Walnut care
- Dry-cloth wipe for dust. A light oil refresh (food-safe mineral oil or our recommended hardwax) every couple of years keeps the figure lively. No water, no direct sun for hours at a time.
